【The Rising Sun on the Swirling Ocean】

I like the transparent glass better than the opaque,

However, the glass of indigo blue with its swirling pattern is exceptional

I love the pattern that reminds me of the sea
So I was motivated to create a rising sun above the ocean

Though I do not know the history well
Japan is called the Land of the Rising Sun

 I wanted to create a scene with water rings Spreading like tidal waves on the water

When the rising sun lights up the surface of the sea
I hope the morning sun rises into our hearts 

 

自分でデザインした朝陽を油を塗ったケーキ型に置いたところ。

クッキングシートを敷いて型に石膏を流し込んで1週間して
取り出したところ。

石膏がガラスに付いている部分を爪楊枝やブラシで磨いて出来上がり！

【海を照らす朝陽】

ガラスは透明のものが好き

でも、この藍のガラスは特別

海を感じるこの柄に魅かれ

ここに朝日を昇らせたくなった

私はいにしえのことはよく知らないけど

日本は、日出づる国

潮の流れに水紋が揺れる

そんな朝を形にしたくて

海を照らす朝陽

私たちの心にも朝日が昇りますように
